H-Racer: A Hydrogen Powered Model Car

Horizon Fuel Cell’s H-racer immediately got my attention as another toy I could add for about $115 to my office cube which is filled with various items of distraction that prevent me from doing my work. This unique little car is fueled by hydrogen which is created in its own fuel pump that is powered by, if you can believe it – its own solar collecting panel. So to me, that’s basically three things to play with in one package. This is how it works. You pour water into the fuel pump (remember, which is powered by the solar collector) and you’ll already have shivers. The pump converts the water into hydrogen which then is released into the fuel tank (collection bladder) inside the car. Guess what? Now you’re ready to rip it up down the aisles between all those cubes.
