Cans, Glass, and Aluminum for Charity

A cozy corner of our kitchen is dedicated to recycling. It took a few steps for our project manager to get everything organized – such as buying the recycling bins, and recruiting a team of 4 staff volunteers to take recyclables home with them. Now the office recycling program runs itself, and our garbage cans aren’t overflowing – AMEN!

Soon, a recycling company will be taking over the task of emptying the bins, and they will give us spare change which can go towards a charity or anything we chose. Some staff are lobbying for a foosball table, but if the project manager has it her way, it will go towards an environmental non-profit. Even more reason to feel good about not throwing away that water bottle!
